At Celestial ZZZ, we are looking for a Space Sleep Therapist who will be responsible for providing tailored sleep advice to astronauts who have trouble sleeping during their time in outer space. This is a unique job that combines both scientific and emotional elements to help astronauts and other space personnel in achieving improved sleep quality. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, having a background in psychology or neuroscience, and skilled in using medical and psychiatric methods for treating sleep disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored sleep advice, counseling and therapy to astronauts and other space personnel
- Monitor the progress of patients and adjust strategies accordingly
- Conduct research on sleep health to identify trends and best practices
- Create educational materials on sleep and its importance to astronauts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or neuroscience
- Experience assisting astronauts or space personnel in managing sleep problems
- Experience in providing sleep therapy and counseling
- Knowledge and expertise in common sleep disorders and related treatments
