GammaCorp is seeking a Zero-G Dance Instructor to lead emotionally-driven, gravity-defying performances for luxury cruise liners and interstellar festivals. You'll be responsible for putting together a talented, cutting-edge troupe of performers, leading rehearsals and practices, and choreographing stunning displays in our revolutionary low-gravity theater apparatus. This is a creative and stimulating role that offers the chance to collaborate with like-minded professionals on shows that explore the possibilities of the unknown.
Responsibilities
- Invent dynamic routines and choreograph captivating performances
- Lead by example during rehearsals and performance sessions
- Ensure theatrical and technical arrangements are in order before show time
- Coach and guide the tour's dance troupe to a high level of performance where necessary
- Develop team cohesion and build a rapport with the performers
- Review and assess previous shows for improvements
Qualifications
- A track record of experience in leading complex, structured dance performances with a dynamic cast
- A thorough understanding of modern dance and performance techniques
- A clear vision for creating emotionally-compelling shows that capture an audience’s attention
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly in atypical Zero-G environments
- Experience in teaching, leading rehearsals, and perfecting performance routines
