Our company is looking for a Surreal Landscape Architect to join our team of innovators and future-builders! We need someone that is creative and has a passion for creating truly mind-bending scenery, ones that blend fantasy, science-fiction and the unknown. The goal is to create landscapes and environments that no one has ever experienced before and to challenge pre-conceived notions of what is possible. If you possess a vivid imagination, natural artistic flair, and are eager to push the boundaries of design, then this job is for you!
Responsibilities
- Connect various elements & create atmosphere by using believable lighting, color schemes & textures
- Understand and design large & small scale environment compositions
- Collaborate with professionals in the game industry to develop game levels & concepts
- Formulate concepts for surreal landscapes and foster an original vision for projects
- Design and present both models and sketches to express ideas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in landscape architecture, or 3-5 years of experience in an alternative field
- High level of creativity, passion, and an eye for innovation
- Strong knowledge of science fiction elements and a deep understanding of the unknown
- Expertise in landscape design, color, texture and balance
- Demonstrated experience utilizing 3D software such as Autodesk, Unreal, and/or Maya to design surreal environments
